see Umeå was a iPhone application built for an event held by Nolia AB in Umeå during the summer of 2009. It served location-based information on the event, and a location-based competition was held through the application where users toured the event using their GPS and could win prizes by unlocking points of interest, as well as unlocking special offers.
A web-based client for phones with WAP capability was also developed, using QR tags for the competition.
